Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Northern Illinois | ASAP Start
Northern Illinois facility seeking Orthopedic Surgery locum tenens coverage starting this December and ongoing. One to two candidates with active Illinois licenses needed to help with clinic and call coverage needs starting ASAP.
The client has specific coverage needs starting in December but is open to your specific ongoing availability in January 2025 + ongoing.
Coverage needed:
* Seeking one week per month of coverage on Monday at 7A - Monday at 7A
* Weekdays are spent in the clinic setting or doing scheduled surgeries from 8AM-4PM, many week days are split in half with a half clinic & half surgery day schedule
* Will cover night/weekend call coverage at a 1:3 ratio
Specific dates of coverage needed:
* Friday, December 20 at 7AM - Monday, December 23 at 7AM OR Friday, December 20 at 7AM - Friday, December 27 at 7AM (Christmas coverage + pay!)
* Seeking an additional 1 week per month of coverage on an ongoing basis
Orthopedic Surgery Locums Opportunity ID #106070:
* Must have an active & unrestricted Illinois license & CSR
* Active Board Certification and/or true eligibility required
* Fellowship training is preferred but not required
* Scope of coverage: must be comfortable with full gamut of bread & butter orthopedic surgery to include total joints (knees, joints & hip replacements)
* 100% Adult + Geriatric patient population, no peds whatsoever
* Volume: between 15-20 PPD between clinic, surgery + call coverage
* Facility details: located about 2 hours outside of Chicago, MediTech EMR, 100+ bed facility, not a designated trauma location
