Responsibilities
- Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and mental health care needs
- Urgent and emergency mental health care
- Public health management
- Case management and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Gender-specific care, including transgender care and mental health care during pregnancy
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a US school
- Completion of four years of medical specialty training in psychiatry
- Minimum one-year experience as a licensed practicing psychiatrist
- Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of duty station
- Board Certification eligible by ABPN
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
