Welcome to an exciting opportunity for an ER Physician to join our growing department in rural South Carolina, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful coastal town of Beaufort, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Room Physician
- 12-hour shifts with some 24-hour shifts possible
- 14-16, 12-hour shifts a month or 7, 24-hour shifts a month
- Day and night shifts available
- Single physician on staff per shift with plans to add an NP
- New expansion underway, doubling size and volume
- Expansion includes EmPath behavioral medicine treatment, Fasttrack rooms, and more
- Rural hospital with modern facilities, fully equipped lab and imaging dept, strong surgical dept, ICY, and inpatient medical care
- Affiliation with University of SC
- ICU beds available
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active South Carolina medical license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
