Multi-specialty Clinic in central Iowa is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join their talented team!
Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, providing initial emergency care, ordering lab tests and x-rays, prescribing medications, providing patient education and counseling, forming diagnoses and administering treatment in accordance with protocols and established standards.
Qualifications:- Completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Licensure in the State of Iowa as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Previous PA/NP experience in a clinic practice preferred.
- Understanding of the PA/NP scope of practice and ability to accept the limitations of his/her position within the organization.
- BLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 4 months of hire date.
