Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital
- 18-22 hospital beds / 4-5 ICU beds
- Cerner
- APP shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a / APP works nights alone
- Procedures required ( Arterial lines, Central lines, Intubations, Vent mgmt)
- Physicians and APPs will both round in SNF
- Responsible for responding and managing MRTs, Code Blues, and report to ER if Code C-section or Code triage called.
- C4 is the attached SNF that the hospitalists are responsible for in addition to the hospital duties.
- A weekly C4 patient list is created, and workload is distributed between day/night/APP/MD. Avg # of visits on the list are 12-20 per week, and that varies with the number of discharges and admissions that may occur. Pages from C4 can range from 0-10+ per shift.
