Hi Dr.,I wanted to touch base with you in regards to an open locums need coverage in the Virginia area. I am taking immediate considerations. Please see the below information for the part time opportunity: Part timeLocation: VADates needed for coverage are: In Richmond Area: February 9, 2016 March 3, 2016BC or BE is being considered and acceptableACTIVE VA LICENSE IS A MUST, also must be a clean licenseMalpractice, Travel, Lodging ProvidedPatient Census: Expected to see 15-20 patients dailyWill attend emergencies, when applicable--------------------------------------------Additionally- We have a locums Geriatrician need in Arlington, VA starting in the next couple of weeks: Full timeThe following criteria are essential in the next provider to be considered for the role:Recent clinical care with adult patients.Familiarity with EMR record keepingAvailability m/w/f for full day coverage at GHBC to see patients, document visits and review supporting clinical documentations (labs, radiology and consults) pertaining to these patients Comfort with management of chronic medical conditions, review of basic laboratory testing and documentation of actions based on clinical review.The IM/Geriatric Physician will be responsible for 2 SNFs The provider does not need to have a fellowship completed in Geriatrics experience will suffice.The Physician will have some flexibility in making his/her schedule. Not necessarily being in the office 8-5 everyday, but still full timeForeign Medical Grads will be considered it they have geriatric experienceIdeal Candidate would be an IM who did a Geriatric Fellowship Active VA license, Active DEA. ---------------------------------------------In addition we have another opportunity in the Hampton Roads , VA area as well. Full-time means a guaranteed 40 hour week and there is no call involved on evenings or weekends. I am compensating my physicians at an extremely lucrative rate for basic primary care. We are also covering the medical malpractice insurance as well as the travel and the lodging.
