Head of the Epidemiology and Psychopathology Research Center with an Associate or Full Professor title within the Department of Psychiatry (DP CHUV)

The Epidemiology and Psychopathology Research Center (CEPP) of the Psychiatric Department of the CHUV conducts and coordinates multidisciplinary and multicenter research projects with a team of 20 collaborators. The center is also in charge of the training in psychiatric research methods and provides expert advice to the researchers of the Psychiatric Department.
Main missions:
- Design and complete top-quality research in psychiatric epidemiology
- Provide expert advice to other researchers of the department
- Deliver cutting edge teaching in psychiatric research methods
- Lead the center.

Desired profile:
- Federal medical degree (or Mebeko equivalent), MD, MD-PhD or PhD
- Specialist title degree in psychiatry (ISFM or Mebeko equivalent) or PhD in psychology
- Proven high level track record in psychiatric epidemiology including expertise in family and cohort studies
- Proven managerial skills in leading and managing a large team of researchers and in international collaborations
- Ability to set up research programs supported by expert external funding
- Professorial-level academic knowledge and expertise with proven practice in pre- and post-graduate teaching in psychiatric epidemiology
- Good knowledge of French (LM or minimum B2, C1 ideal) or ability to acquire it rapidly.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
